Past Season Recap

Past Season Recap

To say the 2018 season is one for the books, would be an understatement. This years weather threw everything at us, as we experienced weather we have never hunted in before. With most of September consisting of rain and snow, it made for challenging but still rewarding hunts. We did everything in our means to try and provide each group with the best hunts possible. We appreciate our southern boys stickin' it out in the frigid cold Alberta temperatures (that in the southern states is unheard of). Despite these conditions, we are thankful that the bird numbers were still high, seeing higher than normal numbers of Specs, along with Mallards and Pintails. It did seem that the snow numbers were down with little to no juvenile's in each group. Despite the 2018 season, we are looking forward to the 2019 season and can't wait to see what is in store for us.
