Another season of waterfowl hunting has come and gone here at Greater Canadians, and as usual, ended far too soon. We started out with a wet early fall and it seemed to continue for nearly the whole season. The crops were plentiful and it seems we had more geese than I've ever seen in this area of Alberta. The goose hunting was fantastic to say the least, and the ducks were good. Not to say we didn't have ducks but they seemed to be more spread out than usual. I think it was because of the abundance of water. We have water in small ponds and lakes that have been dry for 5 years giving ducks all kinds of options. Greater Canadians would like to thank all our hunters for making this a terrific season and also our staff. Every year it's more fun and enjoyable with excited anticipation.
